The Transport Process

What To Expect

With the right documents and information, transporting vehicles can be a smooth and stress-free experience. Here’s the process to help you prepare for a seamless shipment with Royalty Logistics.

Enclosed Shipping

Enclosed Vehicle Shipping is a premium transport service where vehicles are shipped inside a fully enclosed trailer, protecting them from outside elements such as weather, road debris, and dust.

Open Shipping

Open Vehicle Transport is the most common and cost-effective method of shipping vehicles. In this service, cars are transported on an open trailer, similar to those used by dealerships to move multiple vehicles at once.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited Vehicle Shipping is a specialized service designed for customers who need their vehicle picked up and delivered as quickly as possible. This option prioritizes your transport request, often arranging same-day or next-day pickup and using dedicated carriers or routes to minimize transit time.

01

Be Ready with the Right Information

You need to know the pick up and drop off address and who will be your point of contact at each location. VIN number helps get the details of the year, make, and model so make sure to have that ready. Make sure to communicate any details that can impact the move, for example time-frame, open or enclosed, method of payment.

02

Get Your Quote

When you connect with a member of our team, we’ll use the details you provide to create an accurate transport quote. Your quote will then be sent to you by email or text, based on your preference.

Get ready for Pick Up

Before transport, please remove all personal items from the vehicle to ensure the weight is accurate. Take photos to document its condition. The hauler will then collect the keys, load your vehicle onto the carrier, and provide the Bill of Lading form for you to review and sign.

04

Prepare for Drop Off

The driver will contact you both 24 hours and 1 hour prior to arrival. If the delivery time falls outside of dealership business hours, please arrange an after-hours plan—such as a secure key drop box—to ensure the safety of your vehicle. Otherwise, inspect the vehicle upon delivery and sign the Bill of Lading to complete the transaction.
